Originally named “Xi'an Electric Machinery Factory”In 2004, it underwent a comprehensive restructuring to become “Xi'an Simo Motor(Group) Co., Ltd.” was renamed “Xi'an TaiFu Xima Electric Motor Co., Ltd.” through a share transfer in October 2009, with a registered capital of 165 million yuan. The company comprises 17 departments, 3 electric motor manufacturing plants, 4 production preparation and auxiliary plants, and 1 remanufacturing plant, employing over 1,900 staff members. It employs over 500 engineering and technical personnel specializing in motor R&D, manufacturing, and testing, including 21 senior engineers, 150 engineers, 15 master's degree holders, and 15 provincial, municipal, and bureau-level experts. Its business scope encompasses motor and electrical equipment R&D and manufacturing, repairs, casting, mold manufacturing, electrical control systems, logistics, and other fields. The company has evolved into a modern enterprise with a thriving diversified industrial structure centered on motor production.

　　Leveraging the robust technical capabilities of the TaiFu Group, the company develops and manufactures a comprehensive range of electric motors that lead the domestic market. Its product portfolio encompasses 31 major series, over 1,800 varieties, and more than 19,500 specifications. Power ranges from 0.35 kW to 20,000 kW. Products are registered under the “Xima” brand. All products comply with international, national, industry, and enterprise standards, finding extensive application in power generation, coal, petroleum, mining, metallurgy, railways, transportation, chemical engineering, agriculture, water conservancy, aviation, maritime, and high-tech sectors. The company is a designated motor supplier for the Ministry of Railways.

　　For many years, Xima brand products have been repeatedly honored with titles such as “High-Quality Product,” “Famous Brand Product,” “Nationally Exempted Inspection Product,” and “China's Glory Famous Brand Product” at provincial, municipal, and ministerial levels. In 1995, it became the first in the motor industry to obtain ISO9001-1994 quality system certification. In August 2005, it passed the ISO9001-2000 quality system certification by the China Quality Certification Center (CQC). By May 2006, it further obtained ISO14000 environmental management system and OHSAS18000 occupational health and safety management system certifications, becoming the first enterprise in the electric motor industry to achieve all three certifications. Simar motors have also obtained EU CE, US UL, Russian GOST, and China's mandatory CCC safety certifications. The company holds AAA-level quality and credibility ratings and ranks among China's Top 500 Machinery Enterprises.

　　The company was approved by the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission in 1999 to establish a provincial-level technology center. It was recognized as a provincial enterprise technology center in both 2008 and 2012.
